Summary/Abstract: The development of educational processes and implementation of new methods of teaching and learning are established as a fundamental characteristic of the beginning of the new millennium. Appling key competences as the goalsetting of educational tasks has the potential to ensure the transition to the digital and innovative school ecosystem. The rapprochement between traditional academic disciplines and modern aspects of everyday life and environment is a condition for the development of the individual and civic potential of young people, for building life-ling skills. Media literacy in the classroom has the potential to become a compass that directs the resources form History as study of change over time to the needs of the present and ensures the most valuable aspect for humanity - freedom.
