Summary/Abstract: This study is to investigate the relationship between Turkey's foreign trade and its economic growth (gross domestic product per capita). Annual statistics of the research between 2001-2020. The variables of the research include gross domestic product (GDP), exports and imports. Excel and Eviews statistical analysis program were used in the analysis of the data. In the first step, data stationarity was tested, then the lag length was determined. Afterwards, the Johansen cointegration and error correction model between the variables is tested. Finally, Granger Causality between variables was applied based on the VAR model. The results show that the short-term and one-way relationship between GDP and exports is significant and the amount of exports increases with the increase in GDP. In the long run, she found a unidirectional relationship between imports and GDP.
