Summary/Abstract: Sava Tekelija, a prominent figure in the cultural life of the Serbs of the Habsburg Empire, performed charitable and founding activities, contributing to the improvement of church, spiritual and cultural life in the city on Mureș. As a patriot and intellectual convinced of cultural and spiritual values, he contributed to the improvement and beautification of Orthodox worship by introducing choral compositions.
