TOURISM-RELATED FRENCH LEXICON

Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to look at the French tourism-related lexicon. Tourism, a reality of our time, has created its own terminology, vocabulary and lexical stock, while the range of tourism-related vocabulary is currently quite diverse and extensive, having been created by both those involved in the field of tourism and those in charge of its supervision. The large amount of neologisms, particularly the nouns (the neological lexical category), as well as the one of words borrowed from English is getting bigger and bigger due to the progress of science and technology. Such words have massively entered all languages and fields due to the fact that they are necessary in order to reflect certain recently-appeared realities.
