THE PATIENCE IN STOIC DOCTRINE

Summary/Abstract: The Patience in Stoic Doctrine. The Stoic patience is the emanation of fortitude and the cardinal virtues which have themselves an independent foundation, in the will and in the human practice. As a moral virtue, patience is attached as part of the potential strength to the virtue of fortitude that moderates the sadness coming from a bad date, so the will not to give up to do the good, but to strengthen further. By their own will, the stoics were practicing the patience to such a degree that could endure peacefully all the misfortunes that occurred. Some endure various indignities that pass in the eyes of the world as virtuous people. Everything is close to the patient, means the science of things to support and not to suffer, or the virtue that elevates people above everything that seem unbearable.
