Summary/Abstract: The article examines the impact of algorithms in the activity of digital platforms on European fundamental values, which are fully or partially shared by people and communities in the European legal order and legal orders of national legal systems. Certain serious consequences for human rights, the rule of law and democracy are indicated in the article. Implications that are manifested in the activity of digital platforms are suggested as key, and the focus is being made on algorithmic governing, censorship and the absence of preventive mechanisms and proper balancing of rights and values in cases of emergency or conflict
