Summary/Abstract: As the fundamental tool of communication, language embodies and represents social conventions. Linguists have frequently raised the question of whether language is inherently male-oriented or it is intentionally designed in such a way that it seems to favour males term rather than female one in linguistic discourse. The present paper seeks investigates the intricate interplay between culture, language, and gender by means of examining the linguistic characteristics, societal discourses, and cultural influences on gender identities. It employs various empirical exemplifications in an attempt to reveal the complex mechanics of gendered language, with particular attention to its impact on social norms and gender equality.
