Summary/Abstract: In the last period of time, depending on the economic and socio-political situation in the country, we observe a constant persistence, an active spread of acts of corruption and the consolidation of their roots in all areas of social life. Under these conditions, corruption registers a weight that threatens the security of the state, the proper functioning of public power, the rule of law, democracy, human rights and social equity.Currently, new ways of committing acts of corruption appear, and the process of investigating them is usually accompanied by active resistance from the criminals and the people who have connections with them. It is also necessary to highlight the large number of errors committed by criminal prosecution bodies, admitted in the process of investigating corruption crimes (in particular, when carrying out criminal prosecution actions) that generate negative consequences in the field of preventing and combating acts of corruption and the consequences caused by these. In such circumstances, a continuous research and improvement of the tactics of carrying out criminal prosecution actions in the case of corruption crimes is necessary based on recommendations approved by forensic science.
