Summary/Abstract: The paper examines lyrical narrative poems which portray the Ljubović women-heroines, actors and characters, psychologically and character-shaped individualized, within the context of Ljubović family’s site. The Ljubović family is presumably, the most lauded one in oral literature of the Balkans. They are the daughters, sisters, daughters-in-law, wives and mothers, dignified and wise, brave and adept, capable of taking responsibilities in family, economy and community, in a noble-military hierarchy, when absent for a longer period or they are left widowed.
