Summary/Abstract: In his paper, the author presents data on the condition of the stećaks in the Medvjedice site, in the village of the same name, within the municipality of Hadžići. With 152 stećaks, the necropolis is one of the largest in Sarajevo Canton. Earlier written sources provide different data on the number of stećaks, which was certainly one of the main motives to, in a way, examine the situation. The final results of the mapping were valorised in the 2015, after supplemented by municipality of Hadžići mapping campaign. The mapping campaign was organized as joint action of the Municipality of Hadžići, and the Stanak -Society for the Study of Medieval Bosnian History. In December 2013, through an online petition, the Necropolis was already nominated as the national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Unfortunately, the national commission still, even after 9 years, neither has expressed itself, nor responded to this proposal. The report could be used for new mapping of stećaks at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
