Summary/Abstract: In the late 19th century, the Cedîd movement, led by Ismail Gasprinsky, had a profound influence on all Russian Muslims. Cedîdism, which aimed to bring about reforms and improvements in the areas of religion, education, and culture, did not overlook marginalized women and girls. It advocated for equal rights and status for girls and women in society, especially in education and learning, alongside men. One of the most prominent figures of the Cedîd movement in the Idil-Ural region was Mukhlise Bubi. In this study, the life and educational activities of Mukhlisa Buby, who grew up within the traditionalist education understanding and dedicated her life to ensure that women and girls receive modern education and training, are discussed.
