Summary/Abstract: Stress is a common problem in today's business world and has negative effects on employees. Despite the change in business behaviour and the increase in competition, organisations need to increase the performance of employees in order to be effective. However, this performance increase sometimes causes stress on employees. This stress may cause negative consequences at both individual and organisational level. In particular, results that affect the organisational commitment and performance of employees may occur. In this context, this study examined the effect of change fatigue on employees' job stress. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of change fatigue faced by academicians and employees on their job stress. The research was carried out with 288 participants working at Iğdır University in order to evaluate the stress levels of academicians and employees and the effect of this stress on their work performance. The data obtained within the scope of the research were analysed with SPSS 26 and AMOS 21 programmes. The results of the research show that change fatigue increases employees' work stress. In particular, it was determined that when employees experience change fatigue, their job stress levels increase and their job performance decreases accordingly. The results emphasise the need to develop change management and stress management policies in workplaces.
