Summary/Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the employability of disadvantaged groups in working life. Disadvantage can sometimes stem from physical barriers, sometimes from social value systems, and sometimes from a lack of knowledge and skills demanded by the labor market, and these factors vary widely from country to country. Disadvantaged groups include children, the disabled, ex-convicts, immigrants, women and the elderly. Differences in working life such as environment, individual characteristics, cultural values, working conditions, education and age are among the factors that determine the employment level of disadvantaged groups. These factors that define disadvantaged groups determine the place of individuals included in these groups in working life. With the effect of neoliberal policies, disadvantaged groups are exposed to discrimination in the process of leaving, working or finding a job. Employment is an indicator of both economic, welfare and social cohesion at the country level. The increase in unemployment after the crisis and the re-emphasis of the concepts of social state and social protection, employment of disadvantaged groups frequently come to the agenda of international organizations and countries.
