Summary/Abstract: The problems teachers face while preparing exams are an important part of the educational process. These problems may cause teachers to experience difficulties in issues such as time management, appropriateness of exam content, appropriateness to students' needs. The problems teachers face while preparing exams are a natural part of the teaching process. In order to cope with these problems, teachers need to pay attention to time management, determine the exam content correctly, ensure a fair evaluation process and manage the technical aspects. In the process of meeting this requirement, many problems can be encountered. In this study, the difficulties and problems encountered by teachers while preparing exam questions were examined. A qualitative study design was applied in the study and the results were analyzed in line with the opinions of the teachers in the study conducted with the participation of 20 teachers. According to the findings of the study, it was concluded that the biggest problem teachers face while preparing exam questions is the level differences among students. In addition to this, it was concluded that due to the inadequacy of the official curriculum, auxiliary resources are used and this situation leads to level differences among students.
