Summary/Abstract: Museums, which are places where works belonging to the past of mankind, objects related to art and science, are exhibited together or separately, are very important structures in the preservation and transfer of historical and cultural values to future generations. Museums, which serve to convey the historical past in a short way, are among the most important elements of cultural tourism. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the exhibition methods of textiles reflecting the traditional culture in Turkey and the museums where they are exhibited. For this purpose, museums opened by various institutions, organizations and individuals affiliated to the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage Museums, official web page data and web pages of municipalities were examined. As a result of the research, there are places where traditional textiles are exhibited in 52 cities in Turkey, affiliated to the ministry. In terms of the number of museums affiliated to the General Directorate of Museums, Mersin and Aydın rank first with 5 museums. There are a total of 50 museums opened by private individuals, institutions or organizations under the control of the General Directorate of Museums. There are 14 private museums in Ankara. After Ankara, there are 8 private museums in Malatya and Bursa, and 7 private museums in Gaziantep and Antalya. When the exhibition methods in museums where traditional textiles are exhibited are examined, it is seen that they fall into several different categories in terms of exhibition type. These are permanent exhibitsfrom Time Oriented Exhibitions; Authentic Exhibitions from Space and MaterialOriented Exhibitions; Among the Social Oriented Exhibitions, it is seen that they are in the group of Memories and Commemorative Exhibitions.
