Summary/Abstract: Schools are the kind of organizations that have programmed goals considering the needs of society. The fact that if the teachers, as one of the most important factors in the realization of these goals, can easily express their ideas about the goals and functioning of the school will increase schools’ performances as in any other organizations, and will help organizational development. However, some studies show that teachers can be in organizational silence and organizational cynicism. Uncovering the reasons behind those phenomena and creating the necessary conditions in order to prevent their occurrence is essential both for teachers, administrators and for the effectiveness and efficiency of the school. As basing on this perspective, this research aims to examine the possible relationship between teachers’ perceptions of the bureaucratic school structure, organizational silence and organizational cynicism. 386 teachers working in various schools in Pamukkale district of Denizli were selected as the sample. The School Structure Effectiveness Scale, Organizational Silence Scale and Organizational Cynicism Scale were used in data collection. Research findings show that teachers’ perceptions of bureaucratic school structure increase the total score of organizational silence and organizational cynicism, in conjunction with school environment, emotions, source of silence, and with managerial and isolation factors. Perceptions of bureaucratic school structure, organizational silence and organizational cynicism does not differ depending on the gender, marital status and age, but differs depending on branch, school type and professional seniority.
