Summary/Abstract: The article is titled Blasphemy in the Apocalypse of St. John. A theological and biblical study. The point of reference is the terminology directly related to blasphemy (βλασφημέω; βλασφημία; βλασφημός). The author of Revelation speaks of blasphemy in two ways. People blaspheme against God or his followers (Rev 2,8; 16,9.11.21). Blasphemies are associated with symbols of state, political and economic structures. These are structures of a demonic nature (Rev 13,1.5-6; 17,3). The author of Revelation warns Christians and invites them to carefully observe reality. At the same time, Christians must be prepared for verbal aggression in the form of blasphemy.
