The conclusion and performance of insurance contracts in light of the insurance and Re-insurance activity act. Selected issues

Summary/Abstract: This paper is an attempt to review and assess selected provisions of the second Chapter of the new In- surance and Re-insurance Activity Bill. Guided by the need to successfully implement the Solvency II Directive, the legislator has decided to introduce a number of new solutions to the part of the Act that governs the carrying out of insurance business, and to modify and complement the current regulations. This paper presents the author’s observations of a general nature as well as his views on the proposed individual provisions.
