Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the current situation of German minority teaching in Poland. The current situation is explored from the perspective of the thirty-year development of the German minority language in the Polish school system on the formal legal, social and didactic level. In principle, the focus of the analysis is placed on educational aspects. Accordingly, a redefinition of the German minority language in the didactic frame of reference and the processing of a corresponding textbook are declared necessary.
