Summary/Abstract: Nowadays the society is becoming more and more multilingual which is also the reason for researchers to focus more on multilingualism and interactions between languages. The more languages in our language resources the more possibilities for crosslinguistic influence. The research with three students groups has been carried out to investigate their attitude to multilingualism and crosslinguistic influence. The results show that the more contact with the languages you have and the more languages you acquire the higher language awareness you achieve and the more possibilities to benefit from the already acquired languages you have. The results are also a great chance in the field of didactics because it is important to show the learners similarities and differences between languages and teach them how to benefit from the knowledge they already have.
