Summary/Abstract: The present research aims to reconstruct the translational perspectives and the reflections on the transnational circulation of literary values within the journal Viața Românească. Thus, we will highlight the way in which the magazine is configured as an international platform, hosting dialogues between the Romanian space and various cultural environments, analyzing two reviews hosted in the pages of the magazine, in 1939: the one made by Ștefan Popescu about Sașa Pană՚s translations from Paul Eluard, respectively the one made by Constantin Ionescu Gulian, discussing Maria Banuș՚s translations from Rilke.
