Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the role of teaching planning methods in the study of foreign languages for specific professional purposes and the wide range of didactic activities which are currently being used in order to value and assess the students’ knowledge of foreign languages applied in real-life job contexts. Because of the fact that social relationships are getting more and more complicated nowadays, and because people communicate easier by means of digital technologies, the future specialists must also know how to make use oft heir abilities in the field of media and text programming technologies. This knowledge is of utmost importance in the present economical context, because all specialists must be able to give specific explanations and directions in written form or orally, in order to communicate effectively with their co-workers, thus achieving their professional goals. These are the main reasons why nowadays is so important that the teachers integrate and use the interdisciplinary and communicative teaching and lesson planning methods.
