Summary/Abstract: The current paper investigates the disciplinary connections between science and technology, and the role they play within the science and technology communication discourse. It pays special attention to the ways in which science and technology communication has been recently articulated and understood in Romania, by considering the case of social robotics. To capture the specificity of the Romanian discourse instances in this sense, it refers and analyzes a number of representative cases.
