Summary/Abstract: Conceptual art is the quest for art to analyze itself. In conceptual art, thought is expressed with different methods and tools rather than the usual. Lawrence Weiner, Joseph Kosuth and On Kawara, who are among the pioneers of is art, have addressed their linguistic analysis of the relationship between art and language through the concepts of ‘time’, ‘space’, ‘writing’, ‘human,’ and ‘nature’. Within the framework of these topics, they wanted to determine the perception of language that conceptual art, language, and linguistic analyses want to emphasize. The linguistic analyses of the conceptual artworks of the artists examined within the scope of this article are presented with examples.
