DESIGN OF WEAVING SURFACES WITH SELECTIVE TEXTILE MATERIALS WITHIN BASIC ART PRINCIPLES

Summary/Abstract: Basic art principles are study which is lectured in educatıonal instituatıons havıng art and desıgn background. Planning is needed in tems of technic and style while product of a design is formed. As a first step, these plannings having standard composition framework has to be transformed into productşon stage. At this step, elements and principles of basic design are the most efficient way to set the compostion of the design products. In this study, weaving which is fabric preperation technic and basic design principles are gathered. For centries, weaving technic was mainly used for covering oneselves. Conception of modern-day weaving expanded its functional and aesthetic borders. Thus, design of fabric design has changed in terms of usage purpose and surface outlook. In this study, sematic and fuctional common directions of art and textile are aimed to be integrated in a creation.
