Summary/Abstract: Visual culture is concerned with visual experiences that encompass a wide spectrum, from works of art produced with traditional techniques to visual content provided by contemporary technologies such as cinema, TV, computers, the internet and social media. At the same time, it makes sense of all kinds of visual images within the scope of intertextuality as meaning and content. Intertextuality; It takes place through the inter-semiotics between paintings by quoting or between different artistic forms. Parody (reflection), which is one of the ways of citation, is the artist's in visual arts; It stands out as a form of citation that reproduces works of art with elements that can be ridiculous or funny by associating them with images, symbols and signs of life and culture. In this study, it is aimed to examine the reproduction works of Gerard Rancinan's Maids of Honor, Daniel Spoerri's Ironing Board, Banksy's The Girl With The Pierced Eardrum, which contain parody, in the context of their relationship with visual culture with the intersemiotic approach. As a result, in the parodies of the works of art examined within the scope of the study, elements of popular culture are used; past and present social life is compared and contrasts are included; Thus, it is understood that by referring to the differences created by time, attention is drawn to the current individual and social developments and changes that are a part of our visual culture. In addition, it has been seen that the art object, which is a part of our visual culture, includes questions about its place in today's life. The study is considered important in terms of developing interpretation skills and critical perspective and contributing to the understanding of visual culture.
