Summary/Abstract: This scientific study is aimed at establishing the degree of concentration of the non-life insurance companies in Bulgaria for the public procurement sector for the period 2020-2021. The scope of the study includes non-life insurance companies licensed by the Financial Supervision Commission in Bulgaria and the concluded public procurement contracts for the period considered. The degree of concentration and competition of non-life insurance companies in the public procurement sector has been established through structural measures and concentration coefficients. Based on the systematic analysis carried out, a relatively competitive market and a moderate level of concentration has been reported in the absence of par-ticipation by one third of the non-life insurance companies.
