Summary/Abstract: The theory of "moral hazard" has been developed in the insurance literature and considers the individual behavior of the insured. By determining that the insurance itself increases the number and types of insured events that we consider unfavourable and dependent on collective responsibility, insurance itself generates even more insurance. The principal-agent problem describes a situation that occurs when people with different thoughts, intentions, and motives work together, but there is a clear separation between ownership and control over the respective assets.
