Challenges In Implementation Of Agile Management In Project Teams

Summary/Abstract: The objective of the paper is to explore the challenges of implementing the agile approach to project management and to empirically trace its contribution to improving the productivity of project teams. The effect of the transfer to agile management in the IT department of a large retail company has been empirically studied, conducted in two stages - before and after the implementation of the agile approach. Team satisfaction from changing the work model has been used as a subjective criterion for evaluation. An objective criterion is the time to perform comparable activities before and after the implementation of the agile methodology. The results clearly show the advantages of the agile approach over the traditional one.
