Managing Project Teams – Opportunities And Challenges

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses specific features of project teams, the role and functions of the manager, as well as various aspects related to management. Attention is paid to the problems and challenges accompanying the management activity by identifying opportunities for dealing with them and increasing the effectiveness of the team in today's dynamic environment. In the article, an opportunity is offered to support management activities with the introduction and use of software products that greatly facilitate and optimize management processes. Approaches in the management of project teams are considered and attention is paid to the situational model due to the various factors, circumstances, and characteristics of the projects and the impossibility to determine a common approach that can be widely applied in management.
