Prospects for Improvement of Quality Management Systems

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to identify trends and prospects for improvement of quality management systems. More and more often it can be observed that firms improving quality management systems focus on building relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain (customers and suppliers), as well as with employees. In this regard, companies use environmental and safety management systems (health and safety, security of information, security for supply chain), as well as other useful concepts for improving operational processes, such as elements of TPS (such as Kaizen, 5S, TPM), Lean Management, and Six Sigma methodologies for example DMAIC or DMADV.
