Summary/Abstract: The goal of practical sciences, and such are the sciences of management, is to create practical knowledge. The role of different actors in the creation of knowledge management − universities, research institutes, consulting companies, professional associations, large corporations − is changing as a result of various changes in the environment. The article presents the trends and mechanisms of these changes and their consequences.
