Summary/Abstract: The goal of the article is to make conclusions for management science resulting from social and cognitive psychology via the discussion about permeating management science and psychology (social and cognitive) as well as to answer the following question: Is it possible to cognitively and epistemologically combine these types of science? The method that has been used for analyzing the problem are literature studies and a discussion. The article has a theoretical character. The following initial theses of the article have been formulated: 1) Management science constitutes interdisciplinary character using, amongst others, the issues of social and cognitive character. 2) Cognitive content of social psychology and cognitive one is convergent with cognitive content of management science. 3) Methodological content of social psychology and cognitive one is not convergent with methodological content of management science. 4) Socio-psychological orientation in management science (the impact of managerial social imponderables on the character of enterprises’ strategies) constitutes the synergic effect of implementing the contents of social and cognitive psychology in management science.
