Summary/Abstract: Announcing the founding of the new Vienna research group “Music and Syrian Migration” in March 2021 within the “Music and Minorities Research Center” and its related activities. It is emphasized that there are also prospects for new horizons in terms of research and communication in Bulgaria, e.g., in the field of the so-called “applied ethnomusicology”.
