Summary/Abstract: In the Karahkanid period, with the adoption of Islam, translation of Kuran were made; religious and moral works and catechisms were written. the Koran was translated for first time and religious and moral works, and catechisms such as Kutadgu Bilig and Divan-ı Hikmet were written. Catechism is defined as a handbook that contains concise information about the lives of prophets as well as belief, worship, daily life and morality. The subject of this study is a catechism text. The journal in which this text is located is digitally registered at the Library of the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen at 10.20345/digitue.25587 doi number. In the study, the section that includes the short catechism information between the pages 2b and 5b was first discused in terms of writting features. Then the remarable points in the phonetic information of the text were emphasized. Translation text, index-dictionary of the relevant text is given.
