Summary/Abstract: The long story genre, which is one of main prose genres of New Bulgarian Literature, is between novel and story in terms of character, event and volume. The work called "Land" written by Elin Pelin, was first published in 1922. In work, the difficulties of living in countryside as subject and Bulgarian villagers as characters are chosen. Work is important in that it mostly touches on human rights, moral values, and negative aspects of society by staying out of scope of common subjects and character selection of period. Multi-chain plot is used. Concept of time is used as an auxiliary element in conveying plot to readers. Concepts of badpoor, which have importance in Pelin's literary creativity, are shown in different dimensions in plot, in line with the inner conflicts of characters between good-bad and right-wrong. In plot, differences in behavior changes of characters in face of events have been observed.
