Is Representatıon Of Turkish Language Abroad in Danger?

Summary/Abstract: In this study, “Is representation of Turkish language abroad in danger?” was explored through Turkish immigrants abroad. The language problem of Turks abroad has been observed not only in the first generation, but also in the generations who came to the host country as children or were born in the host country. Not being able to speak Turkish, moving away from his parents' traditions, adopting a Turkish identity that does not use Turkish were among these problems. In addition, the danger of not continuing the representation of Turkish abroad through the second and subsequent generations has been added to these problems. In the study, these problems were questioned through field studies carried out on Turkish immigrants in Switzerland, France, Germany and Australia with an interpretative approach and qualitative research method. In the researches, purposive, stratified and maximum sampling strategy was used to reach the participants. ontent analysis method was used in the analysis of the data.
