Summary/Abstract: A person with a disability is often seen as one who needs special care and assistance. At the same time, according to the tenets of the Catholic Church, as a member, she is obliged to discover her personal vocation and to participate vividly in the mission of the Church. This article is devoted to presenting the results of a phenomenographic qualitative research with adult Catholics with intellectual disabilities. The aim of the research conducted with 10 participants of the Occupational Therapy Workshop and the Vocational Activity Centre was to describe and analyze their experiences of participating in religious practices. Based on the interviews, factors that favor and hinder religious practice were identified and implications for pedagogical practice were put forward.
