Summary/Abstract: The present article sheds light on the question of the distorted diasporic drama from which the broken voices of Malika Mokeddem’s writing derive. The author, in her novel Je dois tout à ton oubli, breaks her voice and that of her heroine by shaping an aborted tragedy that is materialized in several forms. First, she uses various processes such as parallelism, interbreeding and accumulation to create a tragic effect erased within the story. Then, she creates a diasporic poetics of the in-between spaces in order to erase the crack and makeits tragic nuance disappear. Our study uses approaches based in narratology and stylistics.
