Summary/Abstract: The Home Army had a complex structure, which required securing efficient and safe communication, so that the enemies could not lay their hands on the transmitted information. In order to protect the confidential information, periodically-changed code names and ciphers were used in the correspondence. Dozens of dispatches and reports written down with these codes survived to the present moment. Many times their full decryption was impossible due to the lack of the key to the words masking the actual content. The published materials contain extremely rare office instruction, the rules of using the ciphers and the code names in the organizational documentation and complete code tables. The presented sources fill the gap in research that has existed so far, at the same time enabling taking full advantage of the remaining letters of HA.
