Administrative proceedings on permission from the Polish Financial supervision authority for the execution of insurance and reinsurance activities – selected aspects

Summary/Abstract: The article is focused on an analysis of selected practical aspects of the administrative proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority on permission for the execution of insurance and reinsurance activities. The article focuses on the characteristics of the administrative proceedings in the aforesaid case; there is also a description of selected practical problems that have occurred dur- ing the administrative proceedings conducted by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority under the provisions of the Act of 22 May 2003 on insurance operations (Journal of Law of 2015, item. 1206, as amended.), and which – as can be reasonably presumed – may also occur during the administrative proceedings conducted by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority under the provisions of the Act of 11 September 2015 on insurance and reinsurance operations (Journal of Law of 2015, pos. 1844).
