Summary/Abstract: The main directions of social activity of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church are revealed in modern Ukrainian society. The influence of the Church on the formation of the system of moral and ethical values of the society and its role in overcoming the spiritual crisis in the conditions of globalization processes of the postmodern society. It is proved that the decisive role in the search for answers to the civilizational challenges facing Ukraine and its culture undoubtedly belongs to the Church, education and science as the universe that connects all spheres of human being. The social activity of the Church indeed directs life processes, ensures the formation of the young generation of Ukrainians with harmoniously developed intellect, inherited experience, moral principles and values. The author of this article highlighted that the war in eastern Ukraine, the economic crisis, pervasive corruption, failed social reforms, poverty, and the endless transformation of Ukrainian society have led to many social problems and daunting challenges for the Christian churches in Ukraine. The development of social thinking of religious organizations, the search for the spiritual meaning of the development of society, effective social work, and the spiritual and moral health of society are the most important, key areas of Ukrainian society in the conditions and context of globalization.
