Summary/Abstract: The political psychology is a new discipline, introduced in the universitary curriculums during the second half of the former century. Arised from the interference of psychology and politology, is difficult to delimitate its domain, although the so-called zoon politikon dimension of the human nature cannot be omitted in the psychological research. Under the circumstances of this interference, the political psychology is frequently considered a particular form of applied psychosociology. In the middle of the political psychology’s vocabulary lies, in our opinion, the concept of power. Unlike the senses offered by historians, philosophers, sociologists, antropologists and ethnologists, the concept of power is studied by the political psychology as the capacity of the individual and of the group to influence and to control. The cultural landmarks of political psychology are the appearence and evolution of etnopsychology, the collective psichology, the democracy’s psychology, the psychology of change and adherence, as well as the methods and techniques of political speech.
