Summary/Abstract: The problematics of alcoholism and alcohol consumption is a very relevant social issue. Alcohol consumption causes a plethora of undesired consequences, often leading to irreversible changes in the human system, also when it is consumed by people which should have nothing to do with it, and minors, who are subjected to enhanced legal protection, are undoubtedly such persons. The lawmakers made making minors drink a punishable offence according to the Polish Penal Code of 1997. The goal of this article is to familiarize the reader with the problematics connected to the aspects of making minors drink. The conclusions which were born from the analysis of the Polish Penal Code and other legal acts, especially the Minor Resocialization and Support Act norm the problematics of making minors drink in a complex way in the context of both the perpetrator and the victim themselves, who can bear the responsibility for consuming alcohol before reaching majority according to the minor law.
