Summary/Abstract: Considering the issue of posthumous protection of a human, should be made a distinction between two types of legal measures guaranteeing such a protection. The first group relates to the protection of goods not related to material remains of a human being after death, such as a good name, image, and privacy of correspondence. The second, in turn, is used to ensure the protection of human corpses or remains and their resting place as well as goods put in or on it. Therefore, the question arises why the posthumous protection of the personal rights of an individual is so unequal. Why is it more important to protect the body of a deceased than his or her goods that live much longer among people?
