Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the content of Anatoly Vialiky’s book entitled Dzierżyńszczyzna 1932–1937. Rejon skazany na likwidację [Dzierżyńszczyzna 1932–1937. A Region Doomed to Be Liquidated]. Based on documents from the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian historian has attempted to present the situation of Poles in the only Polish national district in Soviet Belarus.
