Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the Works of the Hispanic-Rumanian writer Vintila Horia on Spain and Hispanity, considering their interest not only to know better his vital and intelectual path as well as the history of Spain and Hispanity, but also the present crucial moment of Hispanity when the Western Christian Civilization suffers a deep crisis, which may even be terminal. The paper supports also the idea that Horia’s contributions give elements to recover the Hispanic visión of the Western Civilization and a way to overcome the existential crisis of this civilization.
