Summary/Abstract: The reception of Geo Bogza's work is conditioned by a recovery of his personality, a complex and controversial one at the same time, labels that can be explained by the writer's options that cross different historical periods, from the context of the avant-garde, to the totalitarian regime and the political changes affect, implicitly, the literary evolution. An approach through posture theories proposed by Jérôme Meizoz allows the reconstruction of the writer's path by referring to three significant stages: the avant-garde period in which a collective posture appears under the sign of revolt, from which the figure of the mentor emerges, the totalitarian period when voice is put at the service of the party and, finally, the detachment from the regime and the attempt to constitute a synthetic figure, recovering previous voices, under the guise of the "lighthouse keeper". This article attemps both to explain the different positions of the writer within the literary field and to reveal the strategies he uses to acquire symbolic capital.
