Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria, whose cult is still alive. The persecutionof Christians in the Roman Empire by Emperor Maxentius left a mark in the form of conversion of manypagans, philosophers, and the empress to the faith in the One God.
