Young Adult Homelessness. On the sidelines of social protection system in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The article describes the predominant issues faced by individuals aged 18-25 with experiences of homelessness. The aim of the article is to provide arguments in favor of recognizing the experiences of young adults in homelessness as a separate phenomenon. It has been demonstrated that the prevention and assistance system for people with experiences of homelessness in Poland is not adapted to the developmental needs and rights of young adults. There is a need to introduce solutions and organizational forms of support that focus on fostering the development of young individuals, as well as their social integration and upbringing.
